Appearance: Average Mobain height, three feet and seven inches tall. Red furred, blue eyes. Like most echidna females, has hair on top of her dreadlocks, red and flowing. Unlike most echidnas, except if you're in the Dark Legion, one of her locks is entirely cybernetic. It seems to have no real function, except for acceptance, as it seems every single member of the D.L. have something cybernetic about them. She's usually seen wearing black leather clothing, which always shows off her slim figure. Though she has gone through several outfit designs over the arcs, they all focus on her sexuality.
Personality: Lien-da has always craved power, and to have things her way. Don't like your new mom? Get rid of her. Don't like your half-sibling? Have her memory erased. She doesn't like change, and wants to stick with what she knows. However, despite her lust for power, she was obedient when her brother took the Dark Legion throne. She obeyed his every order, showing some degrees of loyalty...at least to those who are superior for now. She has no problem flirting with the enemy, and won't hold back on using her looks for some fun.
She believes heavily in the technological 'religion' of the Dark Legion, that technology would benefit everyone, whether they like it or not. She's easily sarcastic, able to flip from seductress to cold witch at a moment's notice.
Abilities/Strengths: She can be very manipulative, able to find what her partner wants, and play to it. Although debatable if this is a strength, she is willing to kill to do what is 'necessary', and has little regard for lives she does not consider directly important. She works best behind the scenes, creating plans and then sneakily filling them out. She has a great know-how of technology(How to use advanced weapons, such as guns,hover-crafts,robots. Also how to hack) , kidnappings(Involved in the taking of the person and how to cover it up), and assassinations. (Selecting the best shooter, the best place to shoot from, and making sure there are no links back to her)
Weaknesses: Her lust for power often overwhelms her sense of caution.She will go head-on into a situation just by thinking she can win it. She also has troubled father issues, believing her father loved her brother, and her step-sister, more than her. So she has little regards to family bonds, save for her brother. Whenever family is brought up, she can lose her tact, becoming a screaming, crying mess.She's also very overconfident, and has a gigantic ego, that she's smarter than everyone else. Naturally, these things lead her to her downfall, as she never suspects those who work for/with her would ever betray her.
Notable Possessions: That would be her whip, which always stays at her side. It makes a formidable weapon...and plaything.
History: Lien-da was born in a set of twins, the other being her brother Kragok. They were born in the Twilight Zone, where many years ago, the people who were known as the Dark Legion, were banished. The Dark Legion was banned, due to opposing the will of the Council, refusing to get rid of technology and in fact worshipping it as a religion. As for Lien-da and Kragok, they were the children of the current Grandmaster of the D.L., Luger.
Every couple of years, the D.L. had a chance to return to the original zone. During one of these failed attempts, Lien-da's mother grew ill. She died, and Luger soon remarried and got another child. Furious at the 'replacements', Lien and Kragok hated their newest sibling. The step-mother died under mysterious circumstances, and soon the same happened to Luger. (Though no official connection was made to them and the twins, the children looked a little too happy when they were gone…) The extra sibling had her mind wiped, and was sent to live with another family.
Years passed, and Kragok became the Grandmaster, with Lien as the Kommissar. (A second-in-command, if you will.) She obeyed her brother's orders, though secretly longed for the throne herself. However, she made no plans to get rid of him, as her one hint of humanity. When the D.L.'s time to emerge into the original zone came, this time it was permanent. Their city, Nekronopolis, emerged and they began to wage war once more.
The Guardian Knuckles, protector of the Island and of Echidnaopolis, stood in their way. While Kragok and Knuckles fought physically, Lien-da went behind the scenes, helping to kidnap a member of the Council and replace him with a robot. The plan failed, and soon, more disasters piled on top of each other, thanks to the Guardian. Knuckles found their spy, defeated their god-like entity Enerjak (which is another arc in of itself) , and eventually, Kragok himself was killed.
If there was any grief of losing brother dear, Lien didn't seem to show it. She was now Grandmaster, and in complete control!
…Except for the fact, that Enerjak guy? Her great(etc) grandfather, Dimitri, his 'real identity'. Despite being defeated, he was still alive, and now in charge. And wanted peace.
Dagnabbit.
Once again, she obeyed her master's wishes, though scowling underneath. Despite everything the Legion had gone through, they now had to live at peace with Echidnaopolis. Lien was properly pissed, though had to keep working loyally. However, as she stewed and stewed over this, something finally snapped…
While she was snapping, the Dingos,, who had lived with the echidnas, had began an uprising, working with the evil dictator Robotnik. They were forced out of their cities, and along the way, Dimitri 'mysteriously disappeared'. Much like her step-mother and father. As did the Brotherhood, Knuckles' family.
She smiled when she relayed that information. Hmmm.
Before she was taken to Econtra, Lien was working alongside her new doctor, technomage, and consort, Dr. Finitevus. Their plan? Defeat the dingos and take back what was rightfully theirs. And perhaps trick a stupid Guardian. But it looks like Econtra has a different plan.
